Clue - A New Comedy Fairfax Theatre reviews
Well.........
Upon arrival, clear skies greeted us, but we were prepared for either rain or shine at the outside venue. We anticipated a wait time, but waiting five hours before gates open was pretty crazy. However, we were able to get in quickly and find a nice lawn section. The gates opened at 6, but we had to wait until 7:30 for the show to start. Just before 7:29, a big red warning icon flashed on the televisions beside the stage, and we had to evacuate the venue due to a severe storm warning. Despite security urging people to leave, many stayed, taking the seats of those genuinely worried about the warning. It seemed ruthless, but the desire to see Clue - A New Comedy was strong. As storm clouds loomed and rain and dirt gusts swept through, some of us sought shelter with a kind restaurant employee. The venue instructed us to keep an eye on our phones for updates, and eventually, the show was rescheduled for 10pm. It was a chaotic night, and we lost our prime lawn spots, but the performer's dedication was admirable. She delivered her expected set with energy and sincerity, despite the unforeseen circumstances. I'm grateful my daughters had the opportunity to witness her performance, even amidst the turmoil.
